This is a property I’ve been working on for over 20 years now and the Lawsoniana’s are getting to the over mature stage and are starting to fail, the native plantings underneath are now starting to become the shelter from the south east winds that charge through this area so I’m slowly removing the trees and using the timber as best we can. In this video I’m using an Alaskan chainsaw mill to cut 25mm slabs. The saw I’m using is a Stihl 044 which is a little too small for the job admittingly but its all I have at this stage
